DIY Halloween Makeup Look

Okay beauties, so I decided to bring back a really cute and simple “Do it yourself” Halloween Costume/Makeup look I created a few years back as a last min idea . Seriously the cutest little “doe” you ever did see! This DEER makeup look was insta-famous like 3 years back, everyone was re-creating this look for halloween and I thought it was too cute of an idea to pass up. It’s so easy to throw together too! This costume also made a great couples costume, my husband dressed up as a hunter that year. That is something fun you could dress up as with your husband/boyfriend for a party or get together with your friends.

Here’s a little step by step of how I pulled this quick glam together:

  • So for the hair I simply just took a few hair ties and made two small pigtail buns to create my antlers. You could totally skip this step and just buy antlers at your local Halloween store, but I thought this was a cute way to style my hair and not have to go out and buy something I’d only be wearing for a night.

  • For makeup I mainly focused on contouring and highlighting my face to create my deer face. I did my foundation how I would normally do it on a regular day, and same goes for my concealer & eyebrows. Major contour on the sides of my nose, under cheek bones and forehead. Normally, I would normally say be sure to blend out all that cream contour but in this case you don’t want to blend it out as much, you want all the dimension to show. I also used black eyeliner for the tip of my nose and upper lip area to create a deer-like nose and mouth.

  • For a more detailed look you could also add little spots to your face. I used a white eyeliner pencil for this.

As far as my outfit, I chose to just wear a white top and brown leggings/pants just to get into character a bit more.

  • Products used:

  • Anastasia Beverly Hill Cream Contour

  • Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

  • NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil

  • L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation

  • Urban Decay Naked Concealer

  • L’Oreal Mascara
